Spring Snow

Begun as a project through winter about ‘life birthing’, painting abstracts with colours and patterns finding their form. Then that thing happened outside, when the first spring flowers show, to be shockingly covered in snow. When it melts enough to see again it always strikes me as uncovered secret jewels and treasures. Sweetly next came the possibility of the paintings hanging in our local café. Their motto ‘where neighbours become friends’ opened my eyes to see my neighbourhood, to rediscover some favourite places and even find some new secret friends.
